If a hole in your tooth is just too large for a normal filling, we can still repair it with a tailor-made inlay or onlay. These are created by skilled technicians in a laboratory and are designed to fit the cavity exactly.
We place an inlay within a tooth and an onlay over the chewing surface. They are normally made from natural-looking resin or porcelain, so they blend in with your teeth.
We can also use CEREC technology to produce inlays and onlays in a single appointment. This can be more cost-effective as it reduces the number of appointments required and there is no need for a temporary restoration.
